We all love walking. And we are so lucky to have such an extensive and attractive network of paths here in East Surrey to walk along. But that network is under threat as never before, thanks to the ever-declining funding Surrey County Council has available to maintain it.
So we all have a part to play in doing what we can to protect our network. In particular, if you ever come across any sort of problem, a missing sign, say, a broken stile, encroaching vegetation, or anything else which makes it harder to follow your path, report it.
Surrey County Council has a website for you to tell them about such difficulties. Just click HERE

Once you have told the relevant authority, if the problem is in Surrey please pass the information (ideally including the problem reference number you will have been given) on to one of our Local Footpath Secretaries, listed below. If you know the parish in which the problem is located, use the footpath secretary as indicated. Otherwise, simply send it to Richard, who will forward it as necessary.
