To see our current, and some recent, walks on a map, by type of walk, please click on a quarter below:-
The walks are classified by type on the map by coloured markers. In the legend on the left, unclick any walk types to leave just the walk type(s) that you wish to see.
On the left of the sub- heading "Styled by Walk Type" there is a small downward facing arrowhead, click on this to turn it upwards and all the individual walks will be listed by date in the legend for each walk type. Click on one of the listed dates in the legend and an expanded box will appear pointing to where the walk is on the map, and give basic details of the walk.
Alternatively point to a location on the map and click on the marker and a box will appear to show the date and basic details of the walk..
You can move around the map and zoom in and out for more detail. However, note that the locations are by Postcodes - which are not as accurate as the Grid Reference, but show close to where the walks start.
Note also that if there is more than one walk from one Postcode, then only one flag will appear on the map, as the other(s) will be hidden. However, the individual walks will be listed in the expanded legend as above
Please also note that this facility requires Google software which is on most computers. However, tablets and ipads may work slightly differently and it may not be fully available on mobile phones and other smaller devices
